Our water damage repair process in Lapeer County, MI

Standing water comes out first. Containment goes up where the job requires it, and each air mover, dehumidifier and HEPA scrubber is cleaned and decontaminated before it is placed. Materials that will not dry in place are removed, and we explain the reasoning before anything is pulled.
Step 4. We check the readings every day
Every day we return and take moisture readings from the same points, so we can see whether the structure is releasing water at the rate it should. Two to four days is normal for most buildings. A crew works four to eight hours on a day it is on site. The equipment leaves when the readings allow it.
Step 5. Paperwork and your insurer
Once the drying is signed off we build the paperwork. Charges are time and materials measured against the IICRC S500 standards manual and priced from a current Xactimate list, so every line traces back to something. Invoices are issued three to five business days after the work finishes and payment is due in thirty days. On an open claim we give your adjuster the documentation they need and stay in that conversation.
