Our water damage repair process in Wayne County, MI
Step 1. You call and reach a person
There is always somebody on the phone. We ask what is happening, where the water is coming from and whether it has stopped, and we tell you what to do in the meantime. Then we dispatch. A basement that took contaminated water needs the cleaning done properly before the drying counts, so those jobs run longer. A crew is generally on site four to eight hours on a working day.
Step 5. Invoicing, and your claim
When the readings say the building is dry, the billing follows. We charge time and materials against the IICRC S500 standards manual and price from a current Xactimate list. Invoices go out three to five business days after completion, with payment due in thirty days. If a claim is open we document everything your carrier needs and stay with your adjuster until the file is closed.
